Noni believes in speaking about experiences that are underrepresented or misrepresented in order alleviate stigma and raise awareness. Through her unique perspective as a millennial who is biracial, bisexual, bipolar, she touches on race, sexuality, gender, dating, mental health and politics.
She founded, produces, and hosts "Comedy in Color," a stand-up comedy showcase featuring students of color at UNC. She performs at and is a board member for "I Just Said That," a stand-up and sketch showcase for non-male comedians at UNC. She has also hosted for Lab! Theatre, Linda’s Downbar Standup, the Be Here Arts and Comedy Festival as well as for Bassem Youssef at Memorial Hall. Noni is also a co-host of the bi-monthly Mic Teevee Clean Open Mic at Imbibe.
In September 2018, Noni headlined the Eyes Up Here “Shiny and New” showcase and in February 2019, she headlined the Crooked Arrow Queer Valentine’s Day. She will be featured in the NC Comedy Festival in April 2019 and the Oak City Comedy Festival in May 2019.
